A man has been accused of petit larceny after stealing merchandise from a Long Island retailer, police say.

Police are on the lookout for a man suspected of stealing a sink faucet valued at $179 from Lowe’s in Commack (100 N. Service Road) on Tuesday, May 14 around 10:35 a.m.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Fourth Precinct Crime Section officers are on the lookout for a man, pictured above, who is suspected of stealing a sink faucet valued at $179 from Lowe’s in Commack (100 N. Service Road) on Tuesday, May 14 around 10:35 a.m.

The man was wearing a sweatshirt with H&R Chimney printed on it and also made a fraudulent return, according to police.
